The leap as a liberating gesture — the body in the act of crossing a boundary, frozen forever by the frame at the moment of suspension.

In the instant of the leap, the body is suspended between two worlds: neither here nor there. The collage inhabits this suspension and makes it permanent on canvas through enamel.
